Madison Lantz
I am currently a junior at Longwood University and my major is Liberal Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education. As a future teacher, I believe this topic is important because students will greatly benefit from having a healthier school lunch. Past experiences have made me realize how greatly school lunches can affect students and I would love to see an end to unhealthy school lunches!
Sarah Ghali
I am a senior chemistry major attending Longwood University. As a kid, I was often the student to receive a cheese sandwich because I couldn't afford school lunches. Going through the humiliation and confusion of having food taken away for 1 cheese sandwich, is an experience I'd never want anyone to go through.
DeQuana Moore
I am currently a Liberal Studies major with a concentration in elementary education. As I have seen the first-hand effects of students not eating nutritious lunches, I believe students should have the opportunity to receive healthy lunches to reach their full potential.
Hannah Meyls
I am currently a chemistry major with a minor in biology was shocked by the statistical data between students who pack their lunch vs. those who buy school lunches. I believe the difference between the two should be significantly less.
